There are many good reasons for travelling to southern Africa. We have gathered our main reasons for choosing to go on a safari adventure in South Africa.

Africa without hassle

Enjoy the view into one of the largest canyons on Earth, Blyde River Canyon, possibly the largest “green canyon” due to its lush subtropical foliage, known to be one of the great wonders of nature on the African continent. This canyon is part of the Panorama route in the in dramatic Drakensberg mountains, which is the highest mountain range in Southern Africa, rising to 3,482 metres (11,424 ft) in height.

Explore one of the largest inland deltas in the world, the Okavango Delta (or Okavango Swamp), in Botswana, where the Okavango River and the Kalahari Desert meet. This 15.000 square kilometers lush swamp area offers unique wildlife experiences both on land and on water in the famous “mokoros”.

Africa's colorful culture

Visit the Cape Peninsula with the legendary Cape of Good Hope, the second most southern point of Africa.

Marvel at Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World which is claimed to be the largest waterfall in the world with a width of 1,708 metres (5,604 ft) and height of 108 metres (354 ft), forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world. It was discovered by Dr. Livingstone in 1855 and is today considered to be one of the worlds most beautiful and most spectacular waterfalls.

Africa's wild animals in their natural environment

If you are lucky you will get to see ”The Big 5”, which is the popular term for Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhinoceros. Go on a safari in Kruger National Park, which is the biggest national park in the southern Africa. It is well over 21.000 square kilometers, with the highest concentration of wildlife, including 13.000 elephants, 1.500 lions, 5.000 rhinos, 5.000 giraffes and 86.000 impalas.

Top off your safari with a few days of relaxation on some of the most beautiful beaches of the World. Mozambique and Mauritius offer the ultimate bounty beaches with crystal clear water, colorful fish and beautiful coral formations, which give the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.
